Shooter went down to Austin

Jackson also got to spend some time in the Live Music Capital of Texas. He didn't get to make it to many shows, but he did get to see his Jams and his Uncles Will and John. They had a blast from what I hear.





I think that John said something about t.u. being a better football team than the Aggies. Shooter set him straight.

Jackson in Hondo

Here are some pictures of Jackson in Hondo with his family. He got to meet his Paw-Paw and Mimi, and he got to see his Pop and Grammy again. It was a good time for Jackson.

12 Pound Baby!

Jordan just took Jackson for a checkup. He is already at 12 pounds! We did not get the length this time, but that is a big, healthy baby.

Mom is doing great also. I am so proud of my family you just wouldn't believe it!

They're Back!

At long last, Shooter and his momma are back. They have a ton of great pictures which we will try to put up today or tomorrow. Shooter slept like a champ in his own bed, and both Mom and Dad were glad for him to be there.

Missing my Boy!

Shooter and his mama went to Austin to see his Jams for a few days. I sure do miss them. Just look at how cute he is.

The Beautiful Mother

Jordan is amazing with Shooter. Everyday I am astounded at the love, patience and skill she demonstrates with my son. She is truly a natural mother, and I am honored to have her as my wife. Thank you Jordan for all that you are and do.

Jackson asked me to rename the cat Phelps. I think that might be a good idea.

Grana, Poppy and Aunt Nettie Visit

Last weekend Jackson had a bunch of family in town. He got to meet his Aunt Nettie and his Great Aunt Neen and Uncle Monkey. Jackson is popular, and it is easy to see why. Check out this video.

Jackson is Growing!

Jackson went for a checkup this week. He weighed it at 10lbs 13oz and was a whopping 22 and a half inches long. That little boy just keeps growing.

He just loves to eat. On that note, I gave him his first bottle yesterday. He took to it quickly and made short work of the first meal when mom wasn't nearby. My boy loves to eat. I am pretty sure if I put a ribeye in front of him he would go at it.

We hope to have pictures up soon, but Jackson got to meet a new friend yesterday. Conrad Henry came to visit for the first time, and he brought his parents, John and Crystal, along with him. Henry is a little older than Jackson, but not by much. I am sure they will be great friends.

Later, his old friend Lucy came over. Miss Lucy is almost walking around, but she still found time to hang out with baby Jackson.

Not Much of a Storm

Well, it looks like it will not be much of a storm. Jackson and I got up early to watch the news and rain. Despite the news coverage, the trees near our house aren't really moving. Jackson got bored and fell asleep on my chest. I will probably go in to work later.

Jackson's First Hurricane

Only three weeks old and Jackson gets his first hurricane/tropical storm. It is not supposed to be that bad, but we are getting a few things ready just in case. The best part is that the office is closed until noon tomorrow, and I get to spend a little extra time with Shooter. That plus some rain for the grass is a good thing.

The Wild Bunch

It was a different site to see Marissa and Kyle loving on a baby, but sure enough they did. Kyle made his famous mint juleps to the delight of all who could partake.

One Proud Pop and Uncle Lance

Jackson's proud Pop and Uncle Lance stopped by the house Saturday morning to check out the little Aggie. You can see the pride in Pop every time he holds Jackson.

Uncle Lance is a great hand with taking care of his nephews.

John Back from the Valley of the Sun

Uncle John P. was here for the first time in a fortnight. He could already tell how much Jackson had already grown.

Cousins Emily and Claire Visit

We're already having a hard time keeping the kids in line! Jordan and Jackson really enjoyed the visit.
