Fun Facts and Funnies

I can't believe that I forgot to mention Jackson's newest accomplishments: rolling over from back to tummy and feet pulling. He rolled over for the first time last Wednesday, and since then, he's discovered his fun feet. As a funny story on my housekeeping, the vacuum cleaner sent him into a screaming dither today. Guess I don't pull that out often enough??!?

Still happy

Jackson caught a little cold while we were in Austin, but he is still happy as can be. He was so excited to see Troy and smiled at him all weekend.

Monkeying Around

Jackson got this cute little outfit from Kyle and Marissa. He is SO CUTE in it!!

Trip to Austin

With Troy in West Virginia, we headed to Austin for a quick visit. Jackson got to spend some time with his Uncles John and William and his Jams.

Hanging out at the house

We had a really nice time this past weekend. We watched some football, went out to eat, went on walks, and basically spent as much time outside as possible since the weather is so nice. Here are a few shots from the house.

Daddy dressed Jackson for the Aggie game

This past Saturday Troy dressed Jackson for our little trip to an outdoor place to watch the Aggies. Out he comes in his camo onesie under overalls....yikes....apparently, that is proper Aggie game watching apparel. Actually, it doesn't matter because Jackson looks cute no matter what. :)

Have you had your baby kisses today?

He gives them open-mouthed with lots of slobber. :)

Baby Legs!!!

I absolutely love baby legs, and since it was a little bit chilly this morning, Jackson got to wear his! Troy isn't too keen on them, but I think they're adorable!!

Babywearing

Since I am a "hippie," I have a baby sling. Troy said that he could "get into this babywearing thing," though after he sported the Baby Bjorn.

Jackson wears burnt orange??!?!

We decided that Jackson should be able to support at least one winning team this year. So, here he is in his UT gear from his UT support club (Dave and Courtney). Troy was sad that he looked so happy in these pictures, but what to do??

Jackson's New Actions

Starting last week and into this week, Jackson has been turning over from his tummy to his back at least once a day. I don't know that he controls his turns because he still gets surprised sometimes. Also, he started blowing bubbles last week. Very cute and a little slobbery. He has also been trying to sit up from a number of different positions.

Sweet Baby

I couldn't resist this sleeping picture. I think he has the sweetest little face in the world!

Jackson and his Jams

We also went to Kyle to have lunch with Jams. It was good to see her, and her new office looks so nice!

Jackson and his new friend Micah

My friend Katie (Case) Mitnaul just had her own bundle of joy on Sept. 28, 2008. Katie have been friends for many, many years (25?!?), so I was very excited to meet her sweet son. Katie's mom Bobbie and her grandmother also got to meet Jackson.

Jackson and his Mimi and Papa

We went straight from Grammy's house to visit Mimi and Papa. It was a busy day for the little guy, but he was a real trooper and showed everyone his sweet disposition. He also got to see his Aunts Jackie and Melanie and cousins Kelley and Ashley.

Jackson and his Pop and Grammy

From Kyle and Marissa's, we traveled to Hondo and had a fabulous lunch with Pop and Grammy. Jackson also had his first encounter with bulls. He did not seem scared in the least when they came close to the truck.

Jackson visits Kyle and Marissa

We spent the last couple of days in San Antonio with our friends Kyle and Marissa. From their house, we traveled around to see other friends and family.
