Jackson in his Christmas outfit

Grana sent Jackson the cutest Christmas outfit, so we had to take the opportunity to take some pictures. Who knows how crazy it will actually be on Christmas day and we wanted a good shot of our little man in his red and white.

After a brief stint

without a camera, we are trying to catch up. Don't worry, there will be many pictures of Jackson's first Christmas coming up. In the meantime, we've been hanging around the house. He also likes his Exersaucer now, which is GREAT!

Jams has a birthday!

After the shopping trip, we stayed another night to take Jams out to a birthday lunch. We did a little more shopping and ate at the best place, Mandola's. How old is Jams now? We'll never tell.

Trip to Austin

The week after Thanksgiving, Jackson and I headed to Austin for a girls shopping trip with Grana, Aunt Neen, and Tonya. We had such a fun time (read I had a fun time and Jackson tolerated the shopping very well). Jackson had one day of shopping and one day of babysitting. I think it was a good mix. Is that a Yukon XL full to the brim of presents? Yes, I think it is.

Tree Decorating Time

The weekend after Thanksgiving (yes, I have been derelict in my posting duties), we decorated the tree. We had food, drink, and lots of fun! I am happy to start this tradition with Jackson. He participated by eating an ornament followed by a candy cane in the wrapper. We had a really nice time.

Thanksgiving!

We went to the lake to see Troy's folks for the holiday. Jackson got to meet his Mimi for the first time, as well. Fun was had by all---we ate and ate, watched Jackson, and talked about what a good baby he is.

More Friends Visit

This past week Jenn and Brendan came by the house to meet Jackson, as well. I was proud that he did all of his tricks (roll over, scoot around, a little cooing, etc) for them. :) I also had to put the picture of Jackson in his hat and mittens on the blog---he's just too darn cute in them!

Party at Jackson's House

On Tuesday night, we had our friends John, Crystal, Henry, Cheri, Lewis, and Lucy over for Crystal's pre-birthday dinner and cake. The boys Henry and Jackson are three weeks apart and finally starting to notice each other. It was a fun evening.

Jackson meets Jeremy

Jeremy Brandon came to Houston this past week, and Jackson had the pleasure of meeting him. Uncle John came over, as well, and it became a Snyder Ag reunion of sorts. Of course, all attention focused on Jackson.

SANTA

Sunday we took Jackson to see Santa. Of course, we didn't get the best smiles on camera, but he actually liked the jolly old guy. After his best smile and last picture, Jackson proceeded to spit up all over himself and Santa's white gloves. We were horrified, but Santa assured me that it happened all the time. :)

Saturday at the House

We were all together this weekend for a relaxing time at home. The weather was beautiful, and a good time was had by all. While helping me put laundry away, Jackson discovered his new favorite teether toy.

Going to meet friends on Friday

Jackson and I spent Friday at the mall with Lesa, Carter, and Olivia. I forgot to get a picture of everyone together, but I did snap a few of Jackson before we left for the mall. He was so good and let me shop and shop.

Guess how much I weigh?

I can't believe that I forgot to post how much Jackson weighs---he was weighed last Thursday, and he tips the scales at 17 pounds! So, our dear boy is growing like a weed.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear

What do you see? I see a sweet baby looking at me. He was really happy this morning.

Lunch with Daddy

On Tuesday this week, Jackson and I met Troy for lunch. Since he's been working so late recently, it was a treat for us to see Troy in the middle of the day. Jackson was good for the entire time we were eating. We sat outside---it was a glorious day!

Daddy's Home

Jackson is always so excited to see Troy when he gets home. I thought these were sweet pictures.

I'm 4 months old!

On the 15th, Jackson was 4 months old. He is as cute and sweet as he can be. This past week, he got up on his hands and knees for a few minutes...so crawling is in the future. He wiggles all around the floor and his crib already. We are so blessed to be the parents of this sweet baby boy.

Long John Jackson

We took these at the house last week---I can't believe how big he's getting!
